Saint Augustine may or may not have written the following quote: “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” Where the quote originated, for me, is not the point. I agree with the sentiment. In my travels, I’ve had the opportunity to truly experience other cultures, other people, and other points of view. I believe these experiences have enriched my life. I started this blog to help those who want to travel internationally but haven’t due to a fear of traveling alone, anxiety, fear that speaking only one language will be a barrier to international travel or just a general fear of how to get started.
